What is person-centred therapy?

My style of therapy is based on person-centred therapy, meaning it’s led by what you need to discuss.

We’ll dig into feelings, thoughts and experiences to work out what is really going on, and gain clarity and self-acceptance.

I believe that you are ultimately the best person to know what you need and want, but it can be hard to cut through the noise of life, expectations, anxiety and trauma.

Counselling takes work, and can bring up tough emotions and memories. I aim to create a safe space to do this, and so our relationship is the most important aspect.

I can provide guidance on grounding techniques and anxiety management. I am trauma-informed, and work in an inclusive, non-judgemental way. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly.
